Introducing the breathtaking Riptide (Ripple) Steel from Baker Forge!
Our latest layout is designed to be a showstopper, and we're sure you'll agree. We begin with a 100 layer damascus cladding, which then flows seamlessly into a segment of three shims. Two copper shims perfectly complement a jet black 1084 fat shim. The layout is then capped off with a 100 layer damascus core.
This layout has everything you're looking for! With lots of damascus for high chatoyance, dual copper shims for extra pop, and a thick, dark 1084 shim that takes the entire look to new heights.
But that's not all. We're proud to debut our custom-designed Ripple pattern die, which we used to pattern the Riptide layout. The result? Insane ripply movement in the layers that you won't find anywhere else.

- 15n20/1084 Damascus cladding, copper shim, 1084 shim, copper shim, damascus core. All patterned in our Ripple pattern.

- Billets come fully annealed
