Caribbean Rosewood

Caribbean Rosewood knife block. Approximate block size 5" x 2" x 1".

This wood is found in Central America, the Caribbean and southeastern Mexico. Its color is varied: red, orange, and brown can contrast with darker stripes of blackish brown. Traditionally used in fine furniture, cabinetry, humidors and jewellery boxes.
