Ceramic detent balls are harder than 440C detent balls. They are also non-magnetic and extremely corrosion resistant.
Drill a #48 hole in your liner for this size of detent ball and press the ball in.
Used for liner and frame lock folders. These things are tiny and you will lose a couple of these. Get some extra.
