Purpleheart Blocks

Purpleheart knife block. 

Purpleheart, also known as ‘Amaranth’ comes from South America. After maturing the wood becomes a rich eggplant colour. After cutting and with further exposure to sunlight it can become bright purple. The grain is most commonly straight and is very strong.
