Redheart 1.5" Block

Redheart knife block. Approximate block size 1" x 1.5" x 5".

Redheart, or Chakte Kok comes from Southern Mexico and Brazil. The colour can vary dramatically depending on exposure from a bold pink to a bright red. The wood has a fine texture and a great workability. It has a wavy pattern throughout the wood.
