The Brodbeck Basic Package
The Brodbeck Basic Package includes our tilting Chassis, Mareko Flat platen, and Basic Work Rest. This package uses the same chassis as our other packages except for the adjustable work rest. It is intended as a lower cost option without having to buy a lower quality or lower functionality machine. The Basic Package still allows our customers to use all our attachments.
The chassis includes all parts & hardware items to assemble the grinder. This kit includes aluminum wheels: 2” Platen, 4” Tracking, and 5” Drive with 5/8” bore (other sizes can be requested at an additional cost).
We have many motor options. The 1 HP Variable Speed setup offers the best value and versatility.

Motor Options:
No Motor: You have the option to source your own motor or use a motor you already have.

Motor Package $1075
Variable Speed 2HP: Works with 110V / 115V or 220V / 230V single phase voltage. The variable speed control KBAC 27D includes the wiring kit and start/stop switch. The motor is a 2HP 230/460V 3-Phase 60 HZ 6.2/2.9A 3600 RPM TEFC.
Notes:
The variable speed control also serves as a phase converter needed to operate the 2HP 3 phase motor included in the package. YOU DO NOT NEED 3 PHASE VOLTAGE IN YOUR SHOP.
Powering the unit with 110V / 115V reduces motor output from 2HP to 1.5HP
Bolt Together Kit: Our bolt together kit arrives unpainted and unassembled. Grinder can be assembled approximately 2-3 hours going causally. Painting or finishing times will vary. Please keep the number of coats between 1 and 3 for easy assembly. VFD and/or Motor will arrive separately will need to be wired with instructions found here.
Changing the input voltage from 110V to 220V is simple. Move the J1 jumper inside the variable speed control from the 115V position to the 230V position (this is how the ports are labeled) and provide your own 220 plug that matches your outlet.
